Thunderous Waves

Mary’s Monday Musings to Quilt Encouragement

Thunderous Waves

The waves stood tall just like the pictures of West Coast waves in magazines. A thunderous roar accompanied their  crash upon the land. The air was damp with the moisture which sprayed up from the rocks with each wave. How amazing that, long ago, people saw the potential in the power displayed by the might of water whether it pounded upon  seashore rocks or plummeted from a mountain to the ground; and, with God’s help, people figured a way to harness that power to run machines, light our homes, and  fuel our factories.

There is power in each of our lives which allows us to comprehend what moves the world around us and by those observations how to improve our lives. Whether it is how to motivate a small child or comfort an aging person, if we ask, God is ready to unleash His power through us to encourage those around us. He will help us harness our talents, our inborn skills to bring blessings to our fellow travelers in this world. There is no limit to God’s power. Let’s ask Him to help us partner with him to accomplish what He wants on this earth.
