Playgrounds

Grandpa crawled and climbed around the attractive playground behind his 11-month-old grandson. He ensured the boy’s safety while the little one enjoyed the combinations of slides and ladders and other attractions on the clever steel apparatus built to look like a ship. Grandma was at the bottom of each slide to meet the little one when he descended. The playground offered fun for the entire family. A lovely community asset. There is a special kind of relationship grandparents and grandchildren enjoy that brings great delights to both generations, including the parents in between.

We can enjoy our relationship with God as well. Although we don’t exactly slide down slides with God. We can ask for His presence to protect us in situations beyond our understanding. We can talk with Him about the things we are enjoying or seeing. When we stay aware that He is able to observe, protect, guide, and lead us through our days, we begin to grasp a glimmer of His unfathomable love and care for us. With each little glimpse of God’s love, we grow in return in our trust and our love for Him, our amazing creator, the God of Heaven and Earth, our all in all.
